I just received the kettle and I'm surprised... The light is green or red (changing with temperature) and it's to bright for me in the morning. Also the kettle beeps when it finishes boiling. Not loud beep, but still : I don't like when stuffs give me command !Good points : it's really simple to choose the temperature (just press a button to select) and there is indications in Fahrenheit and in Celsius grades at the same time. The kettle keeps the last temperature you choose for the next time. So if you don't change every time, it's convenient.Will it last ? I don't know.Just got it so only time will tell how it holds up, but it's working fine & acting like it should for now, we'll see how long it'll last. also love how it changes through 5 colors according to temp & beeps after a boil, 5 beeps before it shuts off.Works well, temperature can be regulated and can keep the water at a preset temp for I think 45 minutes. It works fairly fast.I love this kettle! It’s very easy to use and a great value for the money. I was worried the different temperature settings would be difficult to learn, as tech and I often don’t get along, but it was super easy. Highly recommended!This handsome kettle worked beautifully for 3 months of minimal and careful usage, until one day when, without the slightest warning or reason of any kind that we could discover, it simply "died." None of the buttons respond--there's no flicker of life at all. We had used it less than a dozen times, and we followed all directions--it was never abused. It was so strange that we have tried it in different sockets, thinking surely it just wasn't connecting to power. But no: it seems to have just absolutely stopped working. Has anyone experienced this problem?The purchase is okay for the price, I did not expect any miracle, but the quality could be better. I have noticed the rust first week, right under the top lid.
