This meticulously hand-crafted chainmaille wallet chain is perfect for anyone who wants to keep their wallet in their back pocket with an independent style. If your 11th Anniversary is coming up, steel is the traditional eleventh anniversary gift. Steel represents forever strong and is a beautiful symbol of the bond you have with your partner. This beautiful, strong chain is 18.5 inches long, and the total length including carabiner and keyring is 20 inches long. It has a 1 inch stainless steel keyring and a 1.5 inch double carabiner.
As with all of my items, each of the stainless steel rings are individually opened and closed by hand to help prevent it from snagging on clothing.
When you receive your chain, I hope you can see and feel my love of creating chainmaille works of art. [If you aren’t familiar with it, chainmaille is a pattern of interlocking rings - I open each ring, weave it through other rings, and then close it (OCD is useful!). Historically chainmaille was used for armor but I use it to create durable, jewelry pieces that are beautiful but still retain the edge of being created out of medieval fighting gear weaves.]
