Read more TESTED UNDER PRESSURE In the 1960s we tested the durability of our watches on boat motors, the wrist of cliff divers and even in dishwashers. And we did it all on live television. Today, nearly every Timex watch is tested for water resistance and accuracy for 24 hours before it leaves our hands. SCRATCH RESISTANT MINERAL GLASS A proprietary blend of minerals fi red into the glass harden the surface making the crystal more scratch and shatter-resistant. DESIGNED IN MILAN In our Milan Design Studio, Giorgio Galli creates every Timex with the careful consideration of our legacy and a passion to blaze forward. Read more

This watch looks amazing. I bought it for my husband as a gift and he wears it all the time. The only challenge we had with it was when we resized the band. We found it very difficult to snap the band into place once we figured out the correct size for him. We eventually succeeded though by looking at videos on YouTube so you might find that helpful too. I wouldn't let that stop you from getting this watch though. It really does look stunning.Great quartz watch but a lil' over priced for what you basically get.Pros:- has a nice finish- japanese movement and battery hatch (with a smooth finish, not noticable on the wrist at all).- love the hands on this one.- although it priced like a mineral crystal, the acrylic dome is prone to scratches but is cheaply replaced\polished.Cons:- the band is terrible. (Chinese made)Clasps bends easily which makes it easily opened (bending the closing flap towards the edge fixes the issue).- date is set with the crown but the only way to set the 'day' is by winding the hour hand over midnight. (Kinda lame but manageable- 180 dollars for a quartz with an acrylic dome isn't worth it. Bought other wristwatches and got a lot more for my money with the same budget. (Mineral crystal, better strap etc.)This is NOT a pepsi diving watch. But a small, light weight and cute pepsi styled piece which on a different strap does the trick for my day to day needs.Iconic, light, great watch! At 38mm it does run small; especially if you are used to 42-45mm watches. The bracelet is a love hate relationship. Love the look, but does pull hair time to time.Overall very happy with the watch. Easy to wear and great vintage vibe with and equally great price.Seller packaged the watch better than watches I have bought at 10 times the price, so thank you for that! What's not to love?Primero que todo excelente servico de parte de vendedor y ya hablando de el reloj esta de lujo de los mejores relojes que eh comprado buena calidad y un look hermoso!Cool watch, Pepsi design, great size for a small to medium wrist. Only negative is the clasp is weak and the watch comes off easily, sometimes on it's own when you're moving your arms around too quickly for the clasp to hold. It's a cool design and looks great. I had some issues with it pulling hairs on my wrist but not as bad as others. The watch shows a lot of wear and tear after minor use. It keeps ticking, but the watch glass and band show deep scratches after only about 2 weeks of use.Timex pepsi reissue:The bracelet: looks nice, easy to adjust, solid build. However, it pulls hair like crazy. So, it's unbearable to wear. I really wonder why Timex went with this choice. I immediately removed it and went with my usual leather band. Now, it's really comfortable. The watch:Exact time setting is difficult. The moment you push in the crown, the minute hand moves, making the time inaccurate. I succeeded after many attempts.impossible to adjust the day by just turning the crown a little. You have to turn the crown a whole lot (complete 24 hour turns for each day) to arrive to the correct day of the week. The battery used is a tiny battery (SR626 or the likes) which means it will have to be replaced often.Good thing there's a hatch to get to it. Why not use a bigger battery, that can last for so many years - like Casio does. The rotary bezel has no clicks at all, and rotates on both directions. It also displays numbers from 1 to 11, instead of the usual 5 to 55.The lumiglo looks good at first, but really does not last long - stops glowing within an hour or so.The mechanism is a regular little quartz mechanism. Nothing of high quality, just regular. The cost is way too much for such an average watch.I believe an appropriate price would be 100. to 120 cdn $$.It also scratches easily, I heard.I would definitely not recommend this watch - perhaps unless it goes on sale for $100.The watch looks cool and reflects the vintage aesthetic accurately. However it seems Timex truly just released a 50 year old watch without making any updates to better fit modern standards. The quartz movement is louder than my alarm and it struggles to hit the markers accurately. The bracelet that it comes on will rip out any hairs on your are and snag anything and everything. It is very painful to wear. Not to mention the battery hatch and water resistance is nonexistent. The crystal seems to be a very cheap acrylic as well. It scratches much more easily and deeply than my other acrylic crystals. I wore the watch for 2 days and the crystal scratched just putting my arm through the sleeve of my shirts. The only redeeming factor is the looks of the watch. For 200$ I would stay away.
