Not the same stainless steel quality of this product. I have older pots that clean better than the new ones. After washing them they still look like they have residue on them even after they are dried which makes them look like they need to be cleaned again. Qualitly of product has declined.We’ve been using Farberware for 36 years and are very happy with it, so we bought this pot for our son. Looks and feels the same as our pots from 1983 which is exactly what we wanted.Tamaño era justo el que necesitaba ir a distribución del calor es excelente no se pega nadaI absolutely love this kettle.. spaghetti sauce doesn’t stick too the bottom as in my other pots.. You still have too stir but not as frequently. Additionally, I took a chance and put it through the dishwasher using Cascade Platinum.. the pot came out sparkling clean..I've been cooking with an 8qt Faberware pot in my mom's kitchen since before I can remember. I know what the product was like in the 80's and hoped to gift the same quality cookware to a friend. However, it's not the same. The body is a BIT more thin than the old ones, and the lid is comparably paper-thin. Still, it's better than anything I saw at the big-box store, and thick enough to take some abuse. Still has that easy-clean slick polish. I also like how now the edges are not open roll-crimped. It used to be a broad rolled edge which could accumulate food bits with no way of adequately cleaning it out. The modern one has nice flattened roll edges with no way for scraps to enter. Despite the reduction in quality, I'd buy another for myself just to get that sweet lid geometry. It's just so effective at keeping the moisture in. I don't have to worry about a stew running low on juice if it sits on the back burner all afternoon since the moisture just rolls down the lid and drips off the deep sides right back into the pot.Beautiful, high quality stock potIt was a giftThis pot arrived today and I used it for dinner! Food simmered in it for a few hours and the heavy bottom keeps everything cooking evenly. It was a breeze to clean too. This pot has a nice shiny finish and the lid is very lightweight. No fumbling about with a heavy lid when dealing with hot food. Great all purpose pot!Good stainless steel pot. Only criticism is that the handles get fairly hot.llegó en dos días, lo que me encantó.
