This watch is beautiful. It has a small face, but perfect for my wrist which is exceptionally small, in fact I can wear children's bracelets. I was happy that I can wear it on the last hole made in the watchband and that there were 2 supports to hold the excess band in place. This is really important for me because of the small wrist, and it keeps the band secure, and doesn't look funny. Very happy with the purchase! This watch has a smaller face than I would have preferred, but it is very elegant and classy looking. Clean, sleek lines. The two-tone gold/silver look is nice because it can be worn with either my other silver or gold jewelry. I rated it 4 stars because I think it is fussy and frustrating to adjust the length of the mesh band (which is lovely), and to get the clasps in just the right place, as I have very little patience for this sort of thing. (Although I do appreciate the workmanship of the finished product.). I assume I will get used to these machinations after wearing it for awhile, and then it will seem like second nature to wear this watch. I guess I am really a basic American cowgirl who should wear a simple rustic leather band.Have purchased several watches and a few handbags...and I'm never disappointed with Skagen products. GREAT quality!!!This is the perfect rose gold classic watch I’ve been looking for. You can adjust the band at home, no need to take it to the watch repair store. This watch is dressy enough to wear anywhere with any outfit. It’s easily adjustable and easy to read. I first purchased a Skagen in Scandinavia and am delighted that I can buy a duplicate in the US. This is my third Skagen and I particularly like the combination of silver and gold. It would make a lovely gift.Lovely, dependable watch in a beautiful graphite/steel color!Love the color and the style. Just enough bling!Beautiful style and great priceMy wrist is really small and so finding metal watches (rather than leather or plastic) is pretty difficult since they always need adjusting. I had been searching for several days/weeks online (I wanted to make an informed decision) and came across this watch - I had wanted to have a mesh watch for quite some time but didn't want to go into stores during the pandemic. I wanted a small clock face and light strap. This watch is perfect - so easy to adjust the strap size and put on! Some other reviews said that the strap was really hard to adjust or easy to break - so long as you are careful, like any other watch, it'll be fine. I had it sorted in 5 minutes and I've never had a mesh strap before (though I did try one on once in a store several years ago) - just follow the instructions that come with it. I used a flat head screwdriver as recommended and that was super easy. Since my wrist is small, I adjusted it several times to get the exact right fit - each time was easy to adjust. In terms of setting the time, it is a little bit fiddly to turn the knob - you have to be quite precise and hold it firmly (I'd say it was more fiddly than the strap lol) but once it is set, you don't really have to worry about it again. It is still straightforward. The watch strap feels light (which is a must for me) but the watch still has that expensive, luxurious feel. The clock face is a bit weightier - at least for someone who has quite boney wrists like me - but it is still light by comparison to other watches I've had.If there was anything that might irritate you, if you're thinking about buying any watch with a mesh strap, the part of the strap which you adjust goes underneath the strap. e.g. unlike when you take the links out of a metal link watch, you don't get rid of the extra part of a mesh strap when you adjust it... instead, it goes underneath the strap. Hope that makes sense. It's not that big of a deal for me.It is quite minimalist but definitely makes a statement. I'd recommend this product based on wearing it today - I plan to use this watch everyday. This pretty, feminine and supremely elegant little watch looks far more expensive than it was. When it comes to finding a good timepiece I can be very hard to please. I have an Omega de Ville automatic watch which cost thousands at least 20 years ago, but it has been worn daily since and still gives me pleasure. Right now, though, it is back in Switzerland undergoing cleaning and revision, and I needed a replacement. At a mere £55, I will hardly complain if this one doesn't last for ever, but so far I am absolutely delighted. I was worried because other reviewers expressed frustration with the clasp: I needn't have been cos it comes with a clear instruction book for the first time, and afterwards it's pretty straightforward. The uncluttered minimalism makes the dial very easy to read - despite it's modest size - and with the adjustable, lightweight mesh band the watch is very comfortable to wear, whilst the pairing of yellow-gold plate and stainless steel means it will complement any jewellery. Very highly recommended!I would have given this watch five stars but when it arrived, it didn't work, I can only presume the battery was dead. I'm awaiting a replacement. A week later my replacement arrived, I had to send it back as the battery was dead on that one too. I sent both watches back on the 7th of December but still haven't received my refund. I've since ordered the watch again, thought I'd try one last time, as I really like the look of it and it's a great price at the moment...Can you hurry up with my refund please guess what, just had my third watch delivered today 23rd Dec and yet again, it doesn't work, can I suggest they're checked before they're sent out by the seller. I wouldn't bother buying skagen through this buyer. Ok if one doesn't work as it has a flat battery but three...thats bad. I'm changing my score to one star.I was attracted to this watch because the combination of steel and yellow gold makes it very adaptable. The face was a bit smaller than I expected, I thought it would be about the size of a £2 coin but it's just a bit bigger than a 10p. That said, the face is clear and easy to read, and I love the minimalistic look (no numbers, just tiny crystals). I was a bit wary of the clasp after reading other reviews as I sometimes have trouble with my grip, but after looking up how to adjust and close the strap online (the pictures and print in the booklet are miniscule) I found it easy to adjust and it's very secure when closed in a 3-step action. It was hard to open at first but after a couple of times it was easier - either I got the hang of it or it eased, either way it's not a problem now, and I know I don't have to worry about it coming undone when I don't want it to . I wore it all day yesterday and it was so comfortable that I forget I had it on - it's very lightweight and the mesh strap means it's flexible and cool. Very smart and good value too
